Ryan Myher Quoted in Forbes, Bitcoin Falls As Macro Factors Trigger Risk-Off Trading

As Bitcoin slid toward $76,600 amid hot inflation data and rising oil prices, Forbes asked Ryan Myher for his outlook on the digital asset.

What Ryan Said

“BTC had traded sideways for roughly two months before rallying around 27%, leaving the market vulnerable to profit-taking and a leverage-driven reset.”

“A pullback toward the $73,000–$75,000 area would therefore remain consistent with a healthy consolidation rather than necessarily signalling the end of the rally. If buyers regain control around the current $77,500 level, a renewed move toward $80,000 and ultimately $85,000 remains possible.”

“A deeper decline toward $70,000 is not our base case, but that risk would increase if consumer inflation also surprises to the upside and the Fed adopts a more hawkish stance next week.”

“Tomorrow's CPI release is now particularly important because it will show whether inflationary pressure is spreading more broadly or remains heavily influenced by energy.”
